The primary requirement for Seniors is the Senior Exhibition.

The Senior Exhibition consists of a fifty-five minute exhibition (no longer than 45 minutes for the presentation, followed by a minimum ten-minute question and answer session).

The Senior decides on the subject of the exhibition, the only limitations being the student’s imagination and her or his ability to research it.

Seniors perform their exhibitions either at the beginning of the second quarter or at the beginning of the third quarter. Seniors announce their decisions about when they will do their Senior Exhibitions prior to the first day of class.

Faculty expects each Senior to meet certain benchmarks. They are as follows:

Exhibition

Seniors must submit the required elements on their due dates. The element must be typed and must meet acceptable standards. Students will be provided with samples of each item.

Seniors receive a quarter credit for the Exhibition; they can receive an additional quarter credit with the creation of a paper, video, or other object on their research findings.

Seniors can only miss one deadline, for whatever reason. If they miss a second deadline, they will have to do their Senior Exhibition during Summer School. This rule is strictly enforced.
